Dragana holds a Bachelor’s degree in Special Needs Education and Rehabilitation from the University of Belgrade, Serbia, as well as a Master’s in the same field. She also earned a Master’s degree in Advanced Teaching from the University of the People, California. With over fifteen years of experience, including seven years in Dubai, Dragana has worked extensively with students with a wide range of disabilities, including Down syndrome, autism, and intellectual disabilities. Her approach focuses on creating individualized education plans that cater to the unique strengths and needs of each student. Passionate about inclusion, Dragana is committed to fostering environments where students with varying abilities can thrive.  Through her work, Dragana continues to advocate for greater understanding and support for special needs students, while expanding the center’s influence through digital platforms.

Lina Al Sayed, M.S., CCC-SLP, DHA, SCFHS

Medical Director/ Speech Therapist

Lina Al Sayed is an accomplished DHA, SCFHS, and ASHA-certified speech-language
therapist, with a strong dedication to helping individuals overcome speech and
language challenges. Her extensive experience, coupled with a deep passion for her work has made her a trusted professional in the field. She is licensed to practice in the United States, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates, making her services accessible to a wide range of individuals and families across the globe.
Her areas of expertise are extensive and include, but are not limited to, articulation disorders, language disorders, social communication disorders, autism, early intervention, and parent training.

Omnia Gamal

Special Needs Teacher

 

Omnia is a dedicated educator with a Bachelor’s degree in English Education and a diploma in Special Needs Education. She has completed specialized training in learning difficulties and the Denver Programme for special needs, under the supervision of the Vision Institute for Special Needs. With over 10 years of teaching experience, Omnia’s passion lies in working with children who have difficulties living their normal life to help them do it. Her strength is in helping children become the best versions of themselves, tirelessly dedicating her efforts to improving their lives and outcomes. Omnia is patient, brave, and passionate, continuously dreaming of a brighter future for special needs education. She envisions a world where children with special needs enjoy happier, more fulfilling social lives and a better future overall.

Suhaila Abdul Nissar

Speech therapist

Suhaila graduated from Manipal University in 2017 with a Bachelor’s degree in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology. She has over 6 years of experience working in educational settings in the United Arab Emirates. Her specialty is working with children aged 3 to 18 years who have language delays or speech sound disorders. Suhaila’s experience also includes addressing social communication difficulties and working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder. She is passionate about supporting children with communication challenges and believes in building their confidence through motivating and creative methods. Her approach centers on the child and involves comprehensive assessments and interventions, while fostering positive relationships with families and other professionals to ensure a collaborative team approach. She has completed training on the 3-Part Treatment Plan for OPT, OPT: Assessment and Program Plan Development, and Feeding Therapy: A Sensory Motor Approach. Additionally, Suhaila is experienced in using specialized therapeutic approaches, including PECS, AAC, Colourful Semantics, Attention Autism, and Lego Therapy

Lyra Barraza

ABA Therapist

Lyra completed her Bachelor of Science in Psychology at the University of the East in Manila, Philippines. She is a Registered Behavior Technician certified by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board in the USA. She has earned certification from the Qualified Applied Behavior Analysis Credentialing Board (QABA) as an Applied Behavior Analysis Technician (ABAT). With hands-on experience in implementing individualized treatment plans, Lyra has supported children with diverse developmental disabilities, including Autism Spectrum Disorder, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, and Down Syndrome. Her experience in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis enhances the quality of her contributions to the job. Dedicated and fully committed, Lyra strives to assist her clients in achieving greater independence, confidence, and an improved quality of life through the application of ABA principles.

Carlos Miguel Carino

Assistant Teacher

Carlos is a dedicated support educator with a background in anthropology, bringing a unique perspective to his work. His primary focus is on supporting children with diverse needs, and he is currently enhancing his expertise through training in International Behavior Therapy and Applied Behavior Analysis. Carlos is committed to helping children reach their full potential while promoting an inclusive and supportive environment tailored to their individual needs.

Anna Lea Saulda

Secretary

Anna is a graduate of Bachelor in Office Administration from the Philippines. She has been in Dubai for 10 years and worked in various organizations such as trading and service sector, construction, and scent marketing. Anna currently works as the Secretary at Team 21. She feels honored to work with special needs students along with passionate teachers, therapists, and parents. Anna’s job has widened her understanding and awareness about special needs individuals and their education. She is optimistic that special education will be accessible to everyone in the future.
